The Raye Freedman Arts Centre
This magnificent facility, situated at the Silver Road entrance, is set to be the most exciting thing to ever happen for the Arts in Epsom.
What began as the school’s Jubilee Project in 1992 became the main focus of the Epsom Girls Grammar School Foundation fundraising efforts. Thanks to the generosity of former pupils, parents and friends the dream is now a reality. Some of the features of the Centre include: -
- 250-seat Lady Fisher Auditorium
- a large foyer for exhibition, launches, post performance gatherings, functions
- generous rehearsal spaces which open onto a natural outdoor amphitheatre
- music and drama suites
As well as providing local arts groups with a performance venue, the Centre will be the perfect place to showcase some of the school’s amazing artistic talent. The Raye Freedman Arts Centre will be the ideal place to share their gifts with the community.
